Moere—derived from the indigenous Ainu language of Hokkaido—evokes the essence of being "calm" or "a river flowing gently."
Hokkaido's winter feels like a film tinted with a blue filter, where the scenes are serene, and the air carries a faint, icy humor. Riding a train through snowy forests, it slowly glides into a platform blanketed in thick snow. The train doors open, and stepping into the cold, the biting chill instinctively makes one shiver. Hastily seeking refuge in a small cabin, the surge of warmth inside envelops the body like a flowing stream, gradually melting away the inner cold. This moment etches itself deeply into memory.
Much like Moere, it embodies a gently flowing river and the soft breath of Hokkaido's winter. The designer’s task is to transform this warmth and stirring emotion into a tangible image—a dream emerging from the snowy landscape, imbued with a distant yet genuine tenderness.
莫埃來——源自北海道原住民愛奴語，意為「平靜的」或「河流緩慢流動」的意境。
北海道的冬天是一部套用藍色濾鏡的電影，畫面靜謐，空氣中帶著一絲冰冷的幽默。搭著列車在雪地樹林裡穿行，緩緩駛入覆蓋著厚雪的月台。車門打開，踏上寒冷，襲來的冰冷氣息讓人不由自主地顫抖。急忙走進一間小屋，熱氣湧上，那一瞬間身體迅速被溫暖水流般包圍，內心的寒冷逐漸退去，這一刻深深烙印在心中。
就像莫埃來般，它是那條平靜流動的河流，是北海道冬日的輕柔呼吸。設計師的工作，正是要將這份心中的溫暖與悸動轉化成一個具體的畫面，像是從雪地中走出的夢境，帶著某種遙遠而真實的溫柔。
To pay homage to the glass shops of Otaru from years past, the round glass wall lamps were specially handcrafted by glass artisans in Shanghai. The irregular spheres are filled with dense, tiny bubbles, exuding a unique handmade charm.
為了致敬當年的小樽玻璃店，牆上的圓球玻璃壁燈特地委託上海的玻璃匠人手工吹製。不規則的球體內散佈著細密的小氣泡，散發出獨特的手工質感。
In this serene wooden space, the bold black strokes on the wall stand as powerful imprints, instilling the soul with profound strength.
在這片充滿禪意的木質空間中，牆上的黑色筆觸如同有力的印記，為心靈注入深沉而強大的力量。
The flooring and wall materials are made of white terrazzo with tiny, almost imperceptible speckles. The texture is so subtle that it takes a closer look to notice. Yet, when placed within the space, this delicate pattern resembles a snow-covered filter. Paired with ash wood veneer filled with white pores and landscaping inspired by the imagery of bare branches, it perfectly captures the essence of Otaru’s snowy landscape.
地板與牆面的材料是一塊白色帶有細小顆粒的水磨石，這塊水磨石的顆粒相當不起眼，紋理小到要貼近它才查覺得到。但恰好這樣的紋理放到空間裡就像蒙上一層雪地的濾鏡，配上毛孔填白的榆木木皮，以及枯枝意象的造景，正能體現對小樽雪景的想像。
The master bedroom extends the design concept of the public areas, with one side of the bed featuring a comfortable dressing room and the other side a bathroom. The most private and comfortable spaces are thoughtfully placed here.
主臥室延續公共區域的設計概念，床頭兩側一邊設有舒適的更衣室，另一邊則是浴室空間。將最私密、最舒適的生活區域融入其中。
The countertop presents a texture resembling snowy terrain, paired with an exquisite faucet, resembling a delicate work of art.
檯面呈現如雪地肌理般的質感，搭配精巧的龍頭，宛如一件精緻的藝術品。
The bathroom incorporates a generous use of natural materials, with warm wood and delicate stone evoking the comforting textures of encountering warmth in a snowy landscape. The tactile surfaces provide rich layers of texture, bringing to life warm memories of a Hokkaido winter.
浴室內運用了大量天然材質，溫潤的木材和細膩的石材，呈現雪景中遇見的溫暖質感。碰觸肌理帶來豐富的層次感，感受到來自北海道冬日的溫暖回憶。
The vast snow landscape, shrouded in mist, is a vivid memory from Hokkaido. That expanse of whiteness, accompanied by soft lighting and a tranquil atmosphere, gently leads one into a peaceful sleep, leaving all worries behind.
遼闊的雪景，霧氣彌漫，這是在北海道深刻的記憶。那片白茫茫的世界，伴隨著柔和的燈光與靜謐的氛圍，讓人慢慢進入夢鄉，遺忘一切煩憂。
Staying here, each use feels like a journey for the soul, offering a moment of peace and comfort amidst the busyness of daily life.
待在這裡，每一次的使用都如同一場心靈的漫遊，讓人在繁忙的日常中找到一絲平靜與舒適。
Like Moere, it is the calm, flowing river, the gentle breath of Hokkaido’s winter.
就像莫埃來般，它是那條平靜流動的河流，是北海道冬日的輕柔呼吸。
